Yeehaw, that was fun! On Saturday, July 22nd we had our 2nd BeachLife Pickleball Tournament at South End Racquet and Health Club in Torrance.
BeachLifers of all levels played and we had two divisions: beginners and intermediate. 30 teams competed and played four rounds, with the top 8 teams moving on into single elimination.
Players were fueled with Tito's cocktails and beautiful charcuterie spreads by Cultured Slice. In the beginners' tournament, "No Experience Required" and "The Foreigners" battled it out with team "No Experience Required" winning the beginner's division tournament!
The final match between our intermediate finalists - teams "HD" and "Greg's Go Getters" was intense, but team "HD" won it all! Both 1st places teams in their division took home the golden pickle trophy, a BeachLife swag bag, and a pair of 3-day GA+ tickets to BeachLife Ranch!
With Tito's, we were able to donate $1000 to the Redondo Beach Police Foundation. Shoutout to all our BeachLifers for coming out! We can't wait for the next Tito's backyard game and stoked to see Teams "HD" and "No Experience Required" in the sand at BeachLife Ranch Sept. 22-24!
